See Sierra No. 3 being steamed up for a day's work!
This rare experience invites participants behind the scenes as the engine crew prepares Hollywood legend Sierra Railway No. 3 for service on Railtown's Mother Lode Cannonball excursion trains. Guests will see routine preparation work such as inspections, oiling, greasing and lighting off the locomotive.

DETAILS
- Duration: About two hours. Tour begins at 9:30 am.
- Meet at the Railtown 1897 Depot Store.
- Tour limited to 15 people.
- Participants must be at least 10 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible parent or legal guardian throughout the tour.
- Tour is not wheelchair accessible.
- Closed-toe shoes are required, as the ground is uneven and obstacles are present.
